About West Sulawesi

West Sulawesi Province is a division of South Sulawesi Province, now the 33rd Province which was inaugurated since October 5, 2004. Geographically, this province is located in a cross position of the Golden Triangle of South Sulawesi, East Kalimantan and Central Sulawesi, and directly faces the sailing route national and international straits of Makassar.

The topographic condition of West Sulawesi Province consists of the sea, lowlands, and highlands, making it possible to have fertile land. The climate in this region is generally tropical. Mamuju is the capital of West Sulawesi Province which holds a million treasures. Starting from a very strategic location, vast territory to abundant natural wealth. Mamuju is the provincial capital which is administratively divided into 5 districts namely Polewali Mandar, Mamasa, Majene, Mamuju, and North Mamuju Regencies.
