Institut Jaminan Sosial Indonesia (IJSI) is an Indonesian NGO founded in 2011 which focus is to accelerate the implementation of national social security in Indonesia.

Work Details

Period: January 2011 – December 2013.

I become the Co-Founder of Yayasan Madera Sejahtera (which then founded IJSI) and took a role here as its Program Manager. The main purpose of this NGO is to encourage the creation and ratification of the BPJS Law so that the SJSN Law can be implemented.

Besides that, we also doing some research and consultancy task on some project, including but not limited to

  • Ministry of Health of Indonesia;
  • PT Askes (now BPJS Kesehatan);
  • PT Jamsostek (now BPJS Ketenagakerjaan);
  • PT Jasa Raharja (Persero);
  • Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Indonesia;
  • professional organization;
  • labor union organization;
  • universities across Indonesia;
  • UN Woman; and many more.
